Overview
Trumbull Energy Center is a dual-fuel combined-cycle gas turbine (“CCGT”) facility with a maximum design capacity 950 MW and is located in the Village of Lordstown, Trumbull County, Ohio. TEC is located approximately 50 miles southeast of Cleveland where there is ample gas supply from multiple major natural gas pipelines.

Technology
The Trumbull Energy Center will employ proven and reliable Siemens Energy H-class technology. Additionally, the TEC will use BACT for emission control. Consequently, the project is anticipated to be one of the cleanest and most efficient CCGT plants within the PJM market.
The TEC will include two Siemens Energy SGT6-8000H (V1.6) CTGs, two HRSG, and a single Siemens Energy ST in a 2x2x1 configuration. The efficient Siemens Energy H-class gas turbines will enable the TEC to produce electricity at a very low net heat rate.
